It's been a pretty good day - I was just offered a job at this startup I've been interviewing with for over a month now in Boulder. It feels pretty good to be in the 17% of people who have jobs out of college!
So where are my Colorado Opponauts at?!?
I'm gonna have to ship this guy soon, too!

Denver Opponaut, checking in.
Congrats on the job offer! What's the startup?

It's called SOVRN - Supply Side Online Advertising Technology.
I doubt I'll live in Boulder because it's expensive - any recommendations for young people near Boulder?

RV?
Congrats on the job; as for the living arrangements are there any small towns close by where you can rent a place?

I'm a young poor college grad in south Denver, as it has some of the most affordable housing in the area. I've only been here for about a year now, so sorry I don't have more info for you. Let me know if you have other questions, though!

Denver here - welcome to our oceanless paradise! Wait, don't tell anyone else that. G8, Grand Wagoneer, Chevy Volt, and a couple other garage dwellers.

Any reason you're not taking this as a chance to road trip to Colorado, or is there just not enough time?

Lots of apartments in towns just east of Boulder along 36.

highway 36 zooms into boulder pretty easily, and things get cheaper as you get closer to denver.
I'd avoid going the other directiona nd living along the highway 93. although it is far more beautiful 93 is slow. But Golden would be a niec place to live.

Live in Boulder if you can, even if you need to stretch your budget.
It's an excellent place to live IMO.

Just outside Denver here. Welcome!
Cheap housing in Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Lakewood, South Denver, and *sometimes* Broomfield.

They want me to start June 4th. I'm gonna try to get that pushed back because I technically graduate less than two weeks before that (I want at least 3 weeks of vacation before 50 years of working).
I may drive - haven't thought it through yet.

You could look into living in Nederland. MUCH cheaper and it's like 15 miles out of Boulder

I'm currently looking at Louisville. Thoughts?

Thats a great place to live but it might be costlier than Nederland. But weigh out all your options and live wherever is cheapest. I'm renting a 4br/3ba apartment with some friends next year on 30th and Colorado and it's costing us $3000/mo for all four of us.

Denver Opponaut here! I live a couple blocks from MarquetteLa. If you can, Look for housing in unincorporated counties, taxes are so cheap.
